Did you ever go to some places that make you felt so calm,
quiet, comfortable and forgot about the crowded of the city? If you didn’t, I
have a tourism object for you, and it is very recommended place. So, don’t go
anywhere and stay tune to this blog!
Named Kaligua Agro Tourism, it is a highland agro tourism area located in
Pandansari Village, Paguyangan District, Brebes Regency, Central Java.
Precisely south of the Brebes region. It is located
about 10 kilometers from the town of Paguyangan District or about 15 kilometers
from Bumiayu. Transportation to the location can be reached via the Pantura
line via Brebes or Tegal-Bumiayu-Kaligua, Cirebon-Bumiayu-Kaligua, and the
southern route via Purwokerto-Paguyangan-Kaligua. The path is via the main road
Tegal-Purwokerto, right through the T-intersection Kaligua, Kretek. The road
between Paguyangan-Kaligua is winding and up and down. Kaligua Agro
Tourism is managed by PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Central Java and it is
created to strengthen the company by attracting tourists with beautiful natural
potential. The Agro Kaligua tourist area provides many
choices for tours. Besides the tea plantation, there are
several interesting tourist sites around Kaligua. For example, Japan Cave, Tuk
Bening, Cave of the Winds, and the tomb Van De Jong’s tomb (the founder of
tea plantation). To serve tourists, the estate provides a fairly
good homestay (lodging) facility. Besides that there are also meetinghouses,
outbound areas, campsites, sports fields, cafes, health service centers,
religious facilities, and others. In addition, visitors can choose several tour
packages provided.
So, you can enjoy the natural beauty only by paying a ticket for about
Rp. 17,000
Earlier we discussed about the existing tour units around Kaligua, now this
time I want a detailed review of Kaligua and all the destinations in it.
1. First, there
is the beauty of the tea plantation. This was a little discussed about the
scenery, this is really cool, suitable for you who want to find tranquility
from the hustle and bustle of a crowded city atmosphere, you can calm yourself
here with a view of a very beautiful tea plantations and a cool atmosphere
sprinkled with white mist behh hearts feel really calm. Look at the view!
2. The second one is tuk bening, this can also be called a fairly large pool which is certainly so cool, but you can't swim, it is said, because there was a person who drowned here and died, maybe the authority didn't want this to happen again. But you can also play water bikes and water balloons too, they don't lose the fun! You have to try it if you're already here.
3. There is a Curug 7 which is a spring that automatically drains tuk bening (in
seond point), it is said, Curug 7 is a source of eternal spring that will not
recede, it’s really happens , and for your info, based on the legend,
the water from Curug 7 can make you stay young guys!
So there are also many tourists who come here, they must try the water, ready to
drink as well, but most of them must wash their faces using this water, so they
are stay young :)
4. What is no less exciting and challenging is there again, Gua Jepang
When you first enter this cave, you will be greeted with a replica statue
of a Japanese army complete with its weapons. In this cave, we can also see
statues of Japanese soldiers made in size like the original.
According to the Japanese Cave Guide, Ujang, in this location there are many special rooms, such as detention rooms, commander rooms, court rooms, slaughter rooms, and armory. "If there are Indonesian citizens who disobey, at that time they will be tortured and slaughtered here," he said.
This Banten native man revealed, visitors to the Japanese Cave are not only domestic tourists, but also from foreign tourists including from Japan and the Netherlands.
"Japanese people who come here often cry because they hear stories that Japanese people who invaded Indonesia and tortured the people here when they made this cave," he explained.
This is a village that seems like a lot of people don't know it yet, apparently there is a myriad of history that really exists and tells the story of the era of the Dutch. Fell like more in love with Indonesia, kaligua especially.

5. This is a recreation park in which there is a
replica of animals such as elephants, tigers, deer, giraffes and more, this
park is really fit for hanging out with family or someone special. There is also a viewing post that you can see in the whole of kaligua
which has a really cool view. Fix you have to come here
6. Next it is an outbound area in the kaligua field before the area is clear, you can
enjoy the excitement of the fun rides outbound together with the family only
for a fee of 15k, enough to spur adrenaline guys
7. Puncak Sakub. with a height of 2050 meters above sea level, with a journey of less
than an hour, using a motorcycle, you can enjoy the entire view of the tea
plantation and face to face with Mount Slamet. In
addition, puncak sakub is also commonly used as a camp area for
those who want to enjoy the beautiful morning sunrise that will make you
melting, but don't forget to wear a thick jacket because there will be very
cold until it reaches 2 degrees Celsius.
So guys, that's a recommendation from me if you want to enjoy a quiet calm
holiday and that is cool and comfortable, and of course, it
will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city crowd. Really recommended anyway.
